A Blog Party

A whole bunch of us that stay in and around Johannesburg, that also run various music blogs are throwing a party this coming Saturday! It will be at the intimate Kitchener’s Carvery!

The line-up is as follows:

dirtyoldman, Andrew Mohawk, Caryn Paryn and I

Dirtyoldman and I have been bringing the chop back to the clubs the last month, playing as the banging electro duo “dirtyoldDisco”! It has been totally awesome to see how our hard hitting style of electro gets the floor asking for more! I’ve put up some photos from the last three shows we played. Thanks to all the people that took them, you know who you are :)

After a hell of a lot of organising and pulling last minute miracles we threw a great Viral Session in Pretoria… Destrukto, Cutout Collective, dirtyoldDisco… awesome!

The following week we got to play another opening set at Kitchener’s Carvery for the launch of Mtkidu’s “Shakawon” album. The opener wasn’t our classic awesome style but it was ok, we got some nods. After Mtkidu did their thing we closed off the night classic doD styleZ and dropped it hard… we were applauded.
