So everyone that comes here knows that I’m really bad at doing the regular blog thing and I always have these “catch up” posts… Here is the latest one! I just trawled through some old photos I got off my camera and this is what I remembered… (read it after the jump!)

Lego rocks! It’s not scary, but it still makes a great halloween costume! Caryn Paryn and I totally rocked the build on these bad boys. Andrew Mohawk and I suited up in the blue blocks, with Caryn Paryn and Nelia Face in the black corner. We partied it up at the Hotbox Studios halloween party, did some docking and got raucous! Neil went all out and looked the most bad ass!

I also got around and watched some bands, hit up +27 Design Cafe (most awesome iced coffee ever!), went to RAMFEST (the lame JHB one), got cooked for and generally misbehaved.

At some point people dressed up as zombies for Aliswans party… I didn’t, so I just rode the exercise bike…

In small but pretty exciting news, this past weekend (Friday 8 May 2009 to be exact) saw the first Viral Underground party in Pretoria. It was quite a fun affair indeed! Themba and I got to play our debut set as the banging electro duo “dirtyoldDisco” which was awesome even though we didn’t get to play to the biggest crowd ever! What’s even more awesome about the party was that, although we got to play a part in the first event, we get to play an even bigger part in the next one, hopefully happening on 31 July 2009! Excited face! Thanks to all of my friends that made it out to give us that loving support! ^5!

Saturday, 9 May 2009, saw the inauguration of South Africa’s latest president – Mr Jacob Zuma as well as the wedding of our friend Jacob Israel! Themba and I got to hang out at the wedding and play a few tracks but it seems that all the dancing going on in the country was at the inauguration ceremony as YouTube gracefully shows us here!
